My husband developed an interest in watches when he was a teenager and worked in a pawnshop in Albuquerque, NM. In the 1950s, lots of folks down on their luck would pawn their watches. When nice pieces became available, he sometimes bought them for members of his family. Knowing how much my husband liked timepieces, my dad gave him this pocketwatch that had been my grandpa’s.
