I don’t remember where I acquired this. However, it is a wonderful example of the old concept of Sympathetic Magic: Like Produces Like. If you stick a pin in the doll’s heart, you will damage the heart of the person you wish to injure. Harming the heart can be interpreted physically or spiritually.
