When I was doing the folklorist thing in New Jersey, I did a lot of work with Acorn Hall, the Morris County Historical Society. I got to be very good friends with the staff. They had this toy sitting in their break room and I would play with it every time I visited. After several years, they decided that I loved it more than any of them and they gave it to me. Beheading Marie Antoinette still gives me joy.
