In 1960, while visiting Mexico City, Dr. Lorenzo Gonzalez took me to a big Sunday market and selected this artifact from one of the vendors. He also helped me find a traditional China Poblana embroidered skirt and blouse for my daughter, Andrea, who was six at the time.
